To all parents of 3rd-5th graders:

We’re pleased to announce that Fall Student Council elections are coming up! If you have a future politician on your hands, please talk to your kid about getting involved. Last year we raised money for the new, red, reading chairs in the library and donated to the coaches for PE equipment and field improvement.  This year we have two new teacher advisors, Mrs. Stuart and Mrs. Stocking and we can’t wait to work with a new slate of officers and class reps.

Please remember that only 5th graders can run for President.  4th and 5th graders can run for Vice President, Secretary and Treasurer. And all interested students in grades 3-5 are eligible to run for Class Representative. Any 4th or 5th grader that runs for an office and does not achieve that office, will be eligible (and encouraged!) to run for one of their Class Representative positions. Please read the Student Council Schedule for more information.

If you have any questions at all, please contact Mary Unger mkhernandez@gmail.com (mailto:mkhernandez@gmail.com),  Erin Chamberlin erinchamberlin@gmail.com (mailto:erinchamberlin@gmail.com) or Nhatle Johnston http://nhatty@sbcglobal.net.
