Ever feel like you could use more tools in your parenting toolbox? We all have moments when we are not at our best and have run out of ideas. Come listen to educator and mom Joanna Ho Bradshaw talk about restorative practices: what they are, why they will improve our relationships with our kids, and how to add them to our toolboxes.
Implementing “restorative practices” in our parenting means shifting away from punitive discipline and toward more healing strategies to resolve conflict, teach positive behavior through authentic consequences, and strengthen bonds.
Formerly an award-winning teacher and Dean of Students at a school in East Palo Alto, Joanna Ho Bradshaw now designs professional development materials for teachers around the world at Nearpod.
Location is Manor, Room 3. Please bring a laptop, iPad or other device to participate.
This is a FREE event. Bring a friend. For more info, check out www.manorpta.org
