This Friday concluded the year of 2018-2019 lunchtime science at Wade Thomas Elementary School.
We invited Brian Kaplan, science teacher and founder of Mobile Maker Club, to share his incredible collection of maker projects. The truck was parked in the middle of the playground, and the minute the recess bell rang, students rushed to try all science activities, from using contraptions running on solar energy to testing Van de Graaff generator to powering rockets into the sky.
What an amazing way to end the year of science. We hope you have a great summer and see in in the Fall!
