Parent Ed: How to Keep Cool in Difficult Moments with Our Kids

Wed, March 25, 2020
6:30 PM – 8:30 PM PDT

Wade Thomas School Library

We are excited to have Dr. Nina Kaiser come share her parenting insights with the Ross Valley community. There will be time for questions at the end.

If you agree that parenthood is immensely rewarding at times AND exhausting or infuriating at others, please join fellow parents and Dr. Kaiser for a conversation about why our kids can push our buttons in the way they do, and ideas for what we as parents can do to help ourselves stay calm and grounded at difficult moments with our children in a way that lets us handle those moments effectively and with intention, rather than reacting out of emotion in ways we may regret.

Dr. Kaiser is a licensed psychologist (CA PSY 22555) who specializes in teaching children, teens, and parents mindfulness and cognitive-behavioral strategies helpful in coping with anxiety, stress, and emotion. In addition, Dr. Kaiser is the founder of Practice San Francisco, a wellness center with San Francisco and Novato locations that offers a variety of classes and programs for all children, teens, parents, and parents-to-be around mindfulness, resilience, and effectively coping with stress and emotions. More information about Dr. Kaiser can be found on the Practice San Francisco website (www.practicesanfrancisco.com)
